Our hearts are filled with another wonderful message from Pastor Shane Lewis at our family conference. We've had a message on our relationships with God and last night on getting past our pride. Tonight's message was a more personal. It was a message of time.
As a young person, the days and years go by slow. It seems as the older we get, the days and years go by so quickly, we are left to wonder where did the time go? But a simple message given from a letter written by an old friend, can help us to realize we are living in the now, and appreciate the precious time God has blessed us with.
If I could do it again:
- I would love my the mother of my children more
- I would listen more
- I would seek more opportunities to give my child the feeling of belonging
- I would express words of appreciation and praise more
- I would spend much more time together
- I would laugh more
- I would spend more time with the Lord
We are in the present now. So while the tale is being told, let's write the story by His grace as is it should be!
Join us tomorrow night at 7:00 pm for the last night of our Family Conference. Don't miss out on this wonderful opportunity!
"And, ye fathers, provoke not your children to wrath: but bring them up in the nurture and admonition of the Lord." Ephesians 6:4
