Encouragement

Tonight's Wednesday night lesson was on how the people in the church know how to be encouraged. Certainly there are things that will sometimes get you down, but nothing is ever too big for God! When we put the Lord in the middle of it, we will always be encouraged.

Problems will never be just wished away. With prayer and an obedience to God, the outcome of any situation won't matter. God is always working in us and we need not to worry about the outcome or what's happening, but what's done in Christ.

Rejection, loneliness, sense of fear or failure and when the excitement is over are most certainly things that will rob us of our encouragement. Also consequences of not being an encouragement can lead to a feeling of no way out, loose touch with realty and loose the purpose of life. If we are to this point, we must stop and realize the presence of the Lord in every thing. You can encourage yourself know the power and promises of the Lord!

"Now therefore, O Lord our God, I beseech thee, save thou us out of his hand, that all the kingdoms of the earth may know that thou art the Lord God, even thou only."  Kings 19:19
