Thank you to everyone for prayers for Fairview Baptist Church. In only two weeks, we will be back in our building that was damaged by the tornado. We are certainly excited to be back in our building the Lord has blessed us with. During the past six months we have learned so much. We know that the Church isn't just a building, but Gods people that come together to worship Him. We've also learned about God's perfect time. Gods timing is always planned, always has a reason and how we can redeem our time.
When we are faced with any situation, we must have faith in God's timing. God's timing is always planned perfectly, even though our situations may not be so perfect. We can look at any situation in our lives with what's occurred and maybe wish God hadn't put us through it. But God's timing is perfect, planned and also purposeful. Consider why God has brought you to this place and how you can do His work or where you can be used.
It's so easy to waste our time. If we consider the reality of time, it happens to us all and is limited. We want to live like we have tomorrow, another year and even forever. But tomorrow is never promised and we must take advantage of the time we've been given and what God wants us to do.
If we consider the reasoning of time, we see that every minute is slipping away and we will never get it back. We must decide what to do with the little time we have and not simply "sleepwalk" through life, sticking with our same daily routines. Time is passing, so walk honestly in His light. Invest our passing days for Him. Who can we help and encourage today?
Finally, time is so precious and we should want to redeem every moment of every day for Christ, it's so easy to waste and not use our time. We want to look forward to what we are going to do in the future, but what about today? Redeem our time in God's will right now, don't wait and think about what you are "going to do." There is nothing in yesterday or tomorrow , but what we do have, is right now. God can turn around any situation and use it for His glory, for such a time as this!
"For if thou altogether holdest thy peace at this time, then shall there enlargement and deliverance arise to the Jews from another place; but thou and thy father's house shall be destroyed: and who knoweth whether thou art come to the kingdom for such a time as this?" Esther 4:14
